GJ Greene is an independent author, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and creator of The Bloodline Wars, a psychological political thriller series built around power, family, identity, trauma, loyalty, and the hidden consequences of ambition.
Long before becoming an author, Greene understood what it meant to fight through obstacles that could easily convince someone to remain silent. Growing up with a speech stutter shaped his relationship with confidence, expression, and storytelling. What once made it difficult to find his voice eventually became part of the reason he decided to use it.
After serving nearly eight years in the United States Marine Corps, Greene carried those experiences with him into his writing—the pressure of leadership, loyalty between people placed in impossible situations, sacrifice, consequence, and the reality that strength does not always look the way people expect it to.
Those ideas became part of the foundation for The Bloodline Wars.
Set primarily in the fictional coastal city of Duschinni Beach, Florida, the series explores what happens when political ambition collides with buried family history and generations of secrets. Its characters are not simply heroes and villains. They are survivors, leaders, parents, rivals, protectors, and damaged people making choices they believe are justified.
That complexity defines Greene's approach to storytelling.
His goal is not simply to tell readers what happened.
It is to make them question why it happened—and what they might have done standing in the same room.

For Greene, becoming an author represents something larger than publishing books.
It represents ownership.
